Slow Cooker Chicken Italiano


This delicious, clean and simple slow cooker chicken recipe is SO good, that no one will know it’s healthy!

6 chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion, sliced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 cans fire roasted tomatoes
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp thyme
1 cup sauvignon blanc wine
salt and pepper to taste

Warm slow cooker on high, add olive oil and garlic. Add chicken breasts, cover with onion, mushrooms, fire roasted tomatoes, stir well, add wine, oregano, thyme and stir once more, ensuring that all chicken is covered with the tomato/wine mix.

Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Once chicken is done, add salt and pepper to taste.
