Yes, you’re reading this right, my adventures with farro, not Farrah and not farrow. So what in the heck is farro? I have the slightest clue, but in an attempt to spice up my recipe knowledge, I purchased a meal plan from a great website called http://www.thefresh20.com/ for as little as $5.00 a month, they give you 20 recipes with 100% natural, non-processed ingredients and they’ll even give you a shopping list. I started using it this week and I have to say, it’s been the best $5.00 investment I have ever made… except when it comes to the “farro” which is used in a couple of the recipes. I have never used it, I have no clue what it looks like and every store I’ve been to does not carry it, at least not the stores around our little town. I will probably have to venture to Santa Barbara tomorrow and see who carries it there
So I will report tomorrow on my investigation on this mysterious ingredient which I have yet to try.
