Day 87 – Getting closer to my goal… TUM TUM TUM….

Day 90 is quickly approaching, yes, it’s actually right around the corner… about 3 more days. I’m planning on taking pictures soon and posting them  here.  I am posting all the comparison pictures,  day 1, day 30, day 60 and day 90.  I will probably do that Monday since that’s when I will have time to do it.

This journey to fitness has been really interesting. When I purchased the P90X, I knew I would get results, but I never expected the results to be so awesome so quickly. You don’t know this about me, but if you know those annoying people that when you tell them something they actually say, “well, I’m going to have to try it myself and SEE if it works” with a great deal of skepticism? Yep, that’s me. I am like that about everything… yes, EVERYTHING and yes, I knew that it would work, of course it would. It’s exercise and eating better… but the fact that I thought about purchasing it longer than it actually took for the program to work amazes me, really, it does!

I went to the doctor yesterday for my yearly physical, I am 42 years old and in excellent health. My blood pressure amazed the doctors. I am certain that if I had gone before I started this program the results would have been very, very different. On that note, let me say this, when speaking to a close relative a few years ago I was told “now that you have had a baby, you surely will end up with high blood pressure because it runs in the family.” But I didn’t buy that, I decided to do something about it. Now of course, I am not saying that there are people out there who are active (or who are thin) that don’t have high blood pressure, or that have some type of heart condition which was inherited. But what I am saying, is that as long as you are under a doctor’s care, and the doctor has said “hey, why don’t you workout and eat healthy?” Maybe, just maybe the doctor is right.

So how much weight have I lost so far? 20 Lbs., yes, you have read it correctly TWENTY POUNDS! I have yet to take my measurements and I am really, really looking forward to it. 🙂
