Day 5 and 6 – 84 days left

My body thanks me for every drop of sweat, for every muscle worked, for every calorie burned, for every effort made. I see a shift in my body and in my mind. Brett states on one of the DVD’s that we will start to see a transformation not only in our body but also in other areas, well, it has started to happen for me. I am seeing a calmness beyond words in my everyday interactions and it has affected my job in a positive way. I am thankful because this gives me access to being a better mom and a better wife.

As a woman and a mom, I know how hard it is to take care of ourselves first. We are always taking care of others. What I am noticing is, I can’t do a good job  taking care of others if I don’t take care of myself FIRST. Working out is taking care of myself first. Why? Because I am taking care of my fitness, my energy, my stamina. I can run, play, have fun with my daughter. I also have patience regardless of how long the day may have seemed because I am calmer. I am also more accessible for my husband. Working out has been an added benefit to our quality time together.

That’s what it’s all about, yes looking freaking awesome in a bikini is an added benefit. 🙂
