My husband and I were using Wednesdays as our rest days but we realized that if we were planning on doing something fun like camping, or visiting friends 3 hours away, it would be difficult for us to continue to have Wednesdays as our days off. So we spoke to our coach and told him what we wanted to do. My husband and I came to the conclusion that the best thing for our joints is to do non-impact exercises, well there definitely is nothing better than yoga.
I am amazed at my progress. We were able for the first time to finish all 90 minutes of the workout. I also couldn’t help but feel so clumsy for some of the poses. It made me feel a little sad, becauseĀ a lot of these poses were poses I had been able to do no problem a few years back. It’s amazing how much we lose when we don’t workout, it’s not only our flexibility, it’s also our strength, energy and well-being.
Today I woke up again to the surprise of my tummy being firmer. I am quickly getting back in shape and I’m amazed. One of the things I believe is helping me is that after my workout, I take the Shakeology protein shake. it tastes really good and I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing anything. I still get to have something yummy to drink.
When I woke up, I saw myself in the mirror and ran into the bedroom to show my hubby… “Look!” He looked at me and said “Wow! Your tummy is firmer” I am really enjoying the workout, but more than anything, I am enjoying the results! It’s exciting!!
