Who would have thought, right? I mean really, I hear about this all the time but when I actually start living a healthier lifestyle, working out more, eating balanced meals, I woke up this week and realized that my energy level is way up, I am able to focus more and I am not as moody as I had been when I wasn’t eating healthy nor exercising.
My husband is my biggest cheerleader. He always encourages me to go run with him. It’s a little hard for me to part away from my work because the more minutes I work, the more money I get and I have been a little too focused on that right now, in the middle of our move. It’s not that I cannot go, it’s just that I start to take a look at my log, see how much money I’ve made for that day and think to myself “just one more call, let me just make a few more dollars” next thing I know, my call has lasted 60 minutes and yes, while I have made more money, the problem with that is that it gets way too late and we end up not running. However we have been somewhat consistent with our run for now going at least 3 times a week.
My weight loss has been steady. And I’m very excited to see that the pair of jeans that were a little too tight two weeks ago, fit perfectly this week. I may not have that much time to run this week because we will be moving, but in any case, once we are done with our move, we will definitely be able to start working out once again.
In the time being, playing hoola-hoop with my daughter is the best type of exercise I may get this week. At least I am moving and my abs really got a good workout yesterday when we played for about an hour. Anything you can do to keep your body moving in some type of aerobic exercise, even mopping or sweeping will burn calories, that’s the beauty of it all, that it doesn’t take much to work out when you really think of it.
