…and as they say, once a Marine, always a Marine. Two things about that, man! I married a Marine, and he’s hot! Second thing is, man! I married a Marine and he’s tough. RevAbs is a tough workout and my hubby does the squat thrusts with no effort. One thing you may not know is that Marines do a lot of squat thrusts in boot camp. When I’m struggling with this particular exercise and I’m sweating like crazy… It’s in those moments that I’m reminded… oh yeah! he IS a Marine after all and I’m proud of him (and unfortunately, I have to tell my competitive side to settle down and it’s okay that he can do the squat thrusts better than me… even when my competitive side doesn’t like it much).
As I’m getting ready to go to bed, I say, I am so thankful that I Have a partner that is not only supporting me in my commitment to fitness but who is also committed to being fit himself. He cares about my daughter and me as much as I care about my daughter and him and that to me, is priceless. 🙂
On another note, I have 25 days left for my 45 day pictures. Yes, time flies… my biggest reward on a personal level will be to slip into those wonderful jeans. Oh yes… love it!
