In reply to <a href="https://vitalitydetective.com/i-graduated-to-dumbbells/#comment-40">Richard Harrison</a>.

I think you're right Richard about the Core Syngergistics which by the way is one of my favorite workouts of P90X. There's just no way for us to develop a strong core or strong abs if nothing else is in shape.

In regards to you being able to comment and not update your blog, well I guess it takes time to sit down and gather our thoughts. It's been harder for me to keep up with my blog lately with all the writing I've had to do for my classes... Today I wrote 3 essays and a total of about 6,000 words because I "had to" but what's interesting is that I don't feel pressure to write here and I do it anyway because I love to. I only find myself having difficulty at times whenever I am tired or have too much on my plate. At least it's the writing in the blog that I treat that way... I'd much rather it be that than my workouts :)

I always appreciate your comments though, it makes me realize that there are people out there reading what I write and it makes me happy :)

I started out using the resistance bands mainly because they were easy to store but I found the same thing you did: some of the routines just don't work well with them. So at week 5 I added DB's. I'm using 10 and 20, mostly the latter.

I like your observation about the Rev Abs covering more than the name implies. It's amazing how we tend to hook our minds onto the marketing concepts despite our actual experience with various products. Seems to me that most ab-oriented exercise is also core oriented. That's certainly true with P90x. In fact I think Core Synergistics does more for my abs than Ab Ripper. But together they're great.

How is it I have time to comment on your blog and I can't get mine updated? :)
